Jorge Luis Villar Reyes
ACAF Executive Director
Jorge Villar was born and raised in Chimbote and worked as a volunteer at Our Lady of Perpetual Help parish. As a young adult he became inspired by the transformational aspect of the mission programs. After earning a Bachelors Degree at San Pedro University he continued his professional studies in Ireland where he earned an advanced degree in Strategic Sales Management. Jorge’s experience in the private sector on a national and international level enabled him to obtain awards for business development and sales growth in the city of Dublin in 2007. He returned to Peru in 2010 and became involved in ACAF’s business development and micro-lending programs. He was offered and accepted the position of executive director in 2012. Jorge’s bilingual skills enhance his ability to work closely with Friends of Chimbote board and staff and with mission visitors and volunteers. His compassion and drive to help his community members living in poverty transform their lives through education makes him a strong and inspiring leader of the ACAF organization.

Miguel A. Koo Chia
Director of Operations
Miguel Choo joined ACAF in 2015. His experience as an advisor to the social responsibility program in the Hayduk Corporation in Chimbote allowed him the opportunity to interact with people living in areas of poverty and extreme poverty. He also worked as manager of culture and sports in the municipal district of Nuevo Chimbote. Miguel is known for being a disciplined and just professional and his organizational skills provide excellent guidance for the ACAF employees in their day-to-day service to the poor .

Daniel Robles Campos
Manger of Administration and Finance
Before joining ACAF in 2012, Daniel worked as the accountant for the Hospice of St. James in Chimbote. His professional reliability and educational degree as a chartered accountant in 2008 from the University of Los Angeles in Chimbote made him a perfect fit for ACAF. Daniel continued his studies while employed by ACAF and in 2014 earned a degree in financial management. Even though much of his time is spent in the office Daniel enjoys the opportunity to actively participate in projects in the poverty-stricken neighborhoods that ACAF serves.

Roxana Lopez Valdiviezo
Manager of Human Resources
A leading psychologist, expert in coaching and motivational workshops, Roxana has a master’s degree in business administration and management, as well as a diploma in strategic human resource management. Roxana has extensive knowledge of Peruvian labor laws and works closely with the ACAF management team.

Katie Richards
Marketing and Public Relations Mananger
An enterprising professional with a master’s degree in languages from the University of Edinburgh, Katie leads ACAF’s marketing department enhancing community awareness of ACAF’s programs and services. She grew up in Manchester, England and came to Chimbote as a volunteer in 2012. Her ability to speak several languages, passionate commitment to address inequality and enthusiasm for ACAF’s programs led to a role as the volunteer coordinator in 2014. In 2015, Katie was asked to serve as ACAF’s marketing director and she enthusiastically agreed. In addition to overseeing the mission visit team at ACAF, she works closely with Friends of Chimbote to share mission stories and updates building awareness of mission programs and outcomes in Chimbote, the United States and Europe.
